This 15 minute exercise got me out of a rut

Hey there, my fellow Stoic!

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for us to talk.

If you remember, I told you about my 30-day challenge 2 weeks ago.

Do you want to hear the updates?

I told you what I’d done in the last week’s post, but this time I want to tell you about my results from that action.

Results from last week:

• Grew my Twitter account by 300+ followers in 1 week

• Landed another client ( + around $1500/month to my Twitter income)

• Met 9 new interesting guys on Twitter

Having a systemized to my days makes all the difference.

If you haven’t read my system from my post 2 weeks ago, go back and check it out.

(Feel free to steal it too!)

Now that we’re done with the update, let’s talk about something serious…

I want to tell you about something that I started doing last year that completely transformed my life.

There I was, stuck in a rut.

My online business was stagnant, and I felt like I was banging my head against a wall. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't making progress.

That's when I stumbled upon a powerful secret weapon used by some of the most influential Stoics in history: journaling.

You might be thinking, "Journaling? Really?" Let me explain.

Marcus Aurelius, one of the most powerful Roman Emperors and a committed Stoic, kept a journal we now know as "Meditations." It was his tool for self-reflection and cultivating a better mindset.

Epictetus, another renowned Stoic philosopher, encouraged his students to examine their thoughts and actions through journaling.

The great Seneca himself journaled to achieve clarity and wisdom.

So, I decided to give it a shot. I started journaling daily, and the results were astounding.

Unleash Your Inner Stoic: Daily Reflection

Each day, I took a few minutes to jot down my thoughts, feelings, and actions. This simple act helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to work on them consciously. Like Marcus Aurelius, I began to understand my own mind better and gained the mental fortitude to face challenges head-on.

Keep Your Goals Front and Center

Journaling became my personal roadmap. By writing down my goals and progress, I was able to stay focused on what truly mattered. I could evaluate my actions and ensure they aligned with my objectives, which led to exponential growth in my online business.

Cultivate Gratitude and Resilience

Taking time to reflect on my successes and express gratitude for my achievements allowed me to build resilience. As a Stoic, learning to appreciate the good in my life helped me face setbacks with grace and poise.

Master Your Emotions

As I journaled, I found that I could better manage my emotions. By putting my thoughts on paper, I could step back and analyze them objectively. This process helped me avoid impulsive decisions and maintain a calm, Stoic demeanor in the face of adversity.

So, my friends, here's my challenge to you: start journaling today. Not only will you unlock the wisdom of the Stoics, but you'll also set yourself on the path to success.

Take a few minutes each day to record your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Use your journal to set goals, express gratitude, and analyze your emotions. Before you know it, you'll be making leaps and bounds in both your personal and professional life, just like the great Stoics of the past.

Until next time, stay Stoic and keep making money!

Your friend,

Abdu Khol
