Intentional 30
My Stoic friend,
Not sure if you noticed, but I was out for two weeks!
I felt like I lost my creative energy — however hard I tried, I couldn't write decent content.
I tried to force myself and went through the timelines of my favorite creators hoping to find inspiration.
Noting helped…
The problem
I think it all started back on January 18 when I got shadowbanned on Twitter.
At that time, I was competing (in my head) with 2 other creators for the most growth.
We were all at the same amount of followers & growing at the same rate.
On January 18, I noticed that my threads aren’t getting the usual engagement. I got worried and started looking for reasons why.
Someone suggested I may shadowbanned and sent me a link to check. I clicked it… and boom… there were right!
I asked my friends on Twitter what I could do to get out of shadowban — they told me I should stop posting content for 1-2 days & wait it out.
And that was the mistake that lead to everything else…
I killed my momentum… I saw how the guys I’m competing against outgrew me by 100 followers. It went to 1000 followers in 2 weeks, and now they have twice as many followers as I do.
This killed my motivation to compete. It seemed unfair that I was the only one shadowbanned.
That feeling didn’t leave for more than a month.
My plan
Fast forward to earlier this week, I realized it was March already!
I couldn’t waste any more time. 25% of the year will be over soon and I’m nowhere near my goals for 2023.
I decided to do something about it…
I reached out to my mentor and explained the situation (I was ashamed to tell him that before).
What he proposed:
• I put together a recovery plan (a 30-day challenge)
• I make it public, so my friends on Twitter and this newsletter will keep me accountable
• I ask others to join me to help them while helping myself
I decided to name my challenge “Intentional 30” — let me know what you think about the name!
I have a question for you:

Before you answer, hear out what we’re gonna do together. We’ll focus on:
Health:
• Cold showers daily
• 15-minute walk/day
• 30 mins of gym/day
• Journal for 10mins/day
Twitter & Business:
• 3 tweets/day
• 2 threads/week
• 1 giveaway/week
• 1 newsletter/week
• 1 DM to a new contact/day

I’ll ask you to do the same if you join. We’ll talk about the issues & learnings from the whole process as we do it for 30 days.
Oh, and by the way, Alex (Copywriting Dad) decided to join me already. So we’ll talk about growing & making money on Twitter too (but that’s a bonus)!
